Loop Laundry and Cleaners, as it was called originally, was founded in 1929 by Julius Sandras, Sr. and Webster Terrebone, as a family laundry and dry cleaner. It was located in the Loop Hotel on Sala Avenue in Westwego, LA. In 1931, Julius Sandras, Sr. became the sole owner, at which time he moved the business location to the rear of his residence at 469 Avenue A in Westwego

In 1960, Loop Laundry and Cleaners expanded its service to include linen rental, uniform rental, dust control, and hospital service. With this change came a new name, Loop Linen Service. Today, Loop Linen Service is a full service textile rental company, serving the needs of over 2,000 customers in almost every field. Loop Linen Service offers a complete range of textile rental and related services, including cook clothes and chef uniforms, kitchen apparel, linen service, industrial uniforms, hospital service, wiping cloths, entry mats, dust mops, safety products, paper products, and other specialized products.
